My name is Evelyn, from Elf Loft, and I am pleased to be offering more in-depth help to those struggling to learn the intricacies of their pet pigeon's everyday behaviors. There's not a ton of good resources out there for learning how to "speak pigeon," and it can be very frustrating not having anybody around who can answer your burning questions. Well, hopefully I can help you with that!
My credentials:

  • 7 years of experience keeping all ages of pigeons

  • Experience keeping pigeons as single birds, in pairs, and in a flock

  • Multiple years giving behavior/bonding advice in the Companion Pigeon Chat discord server

  • Writing multiple behavior guides and filming visual videos to help with behavior/bonding

  • Experience of bonding with 2 single male pigeons and making friends with multiple pairs in my flock

  • Companion breeding experience and loft maintenance

Things to know before scheduling:

  • I do not have experience with imprinted pigeons

  • I do not have experience with species that are not Rock Doves - I can't help much with diamond doves, ringnecks, or other columbids

  • If you have questions about specific behaviors, please capture a video ahead of time so that I can see it with my own eyes, otherwise I cannot promise to know what is happening

  • I am happy to answer generic questions about pigeon behaviors, even if they do not involve bonding

Scheduling & Pricing

A single person meeting is $40 an hour. Should you want to meet at the same time as another pigeon owner, a group meeting would be $30 an hour for all attendees (although I won't count your parent or partner or kid sibling looking over your shoulder during the meeting, that's free).Meetings will be held through Google Meet in most circumstances. I may occasionally use Discord if it is more convenient - case by case basis.Scheduling will require a deposit of 50% of the final price at the time of scheduling. The rest of the payment will be expected after the appointment. Scheduling will be done via email.I take PayPal and Venmo.
